I honestly believe he has been out to change American freedoms for his entire 35+ years in Washington starting when he was Nixon's White House Chief of Staff.

Rumsfeld must now defend and unpopular war that some warned was a mistake, but it typical of the stooges in Bush administration they listen only to far right. Now if anyone today speaks against the war they are called unameican. Here are trying to impose democracy in Iraq but we limit and strip away our right to freedom of speech.

Rumsfeld does hate Americans and democracy. Part of the whole neo-con outlook is to have a society that is based on meritocracy rather than the rule of the people.
His policies are very un-democratic.

He hates free Americans, he preferes an Authoritarian government much like George Orwell's government in 1984 or that of the recent movie V for Vendetta.

Rumsfeld loves money, remember of the picture of him gladly shaking hands with Saddam during the 80s when he sold him those weapons he used to "gas his own people"?
