In Guatemala (central america) Mayas believed about a place (simillar to heaven); where all people went. But they didnt believe aboout good and bad people. They believed that powerfull and rich people, warriors, priests, and intelectual; where the only ones w the right of going to that place. And poor and normal people went to that place too but they continued being inferior. When the powerfull ones died they killed they slaves, pets, as well as its properties and they were buried next to the corpse. W normal people was similar. The believed they had to kill their servants so they could keep serving to their masters in life after death.
