With the help of the powerful US Army, arab lands were stolen in 1948 at the behest of the League of Nations to create a settlement for Zionists. They had the audacity to name this new State "Israel", after the biblical country that ceased to exist thousands of years ago. Modern "Israel" has absolutely nothing to do with the ancient Israel, nor do the people living there have any demonstrable relationship with the ancient Israelites. It was named so strictly for psychological impact and it has worked perfectly. The modern world has proven itself ignorant enough to believe that it is the true Israel.

What occupation? Modern-day Israel was established by the U.N. (or League of Nations if you will) and the territories they've taken since then were in wars that Israel didn't start.
Palestineans have claims on the land going back hundreds of years, and the Jews have claims going back to Bibilical times. So I'm not gonna try and figure that one out, the two parties will simply have to learn co-existence.
You attack & lose- you lose territory- that's how it works. Israel then offered to give these territories back in exchange for peace, but their Arab neighbors flat-out refused.
The Palestineans refugees are really a different issue. Most of the land which was previously called Palestine IS occupied- but not by Israel. Jordan occupies 75% of Palestinean land, that's what needs to be addressed first, in looking for a solution to their problems.

Well .... religion doesn't have to control your views its nice to see. However in WWII Israel was having a make or break situation anyway needless to say it survived...Arab countries started to publicly state that they plan to take israel back or destroy it, anyway Israel took this very seriously they gathered lots of the intel they had and the IAF (air force) practiced bombing like for like targets for 2 years of air bases and such. Now of course the IAF didn't have enough jets to destroy all of the air bases simultaniously. So the ground crews trained and practiced to reload and refuel and repair as fast as they could. Roughly at this 2 year on period Egypt ammases its army on the border of Israel ...Israel responds by destroying roughly 88% of Egyption air power in a very short period of time....and the war continued with Israel against Egypt and Syria...Israel destroyed most of the opposing countrys military power However you may notice Egypt and Syria are seperate directions to Israel the U.S helped airlift a lot of the Israeli forces to prepare for war with Syria.
anyway in that war Israel used modified american tanks and aircraft I believe, since then they have continued to buy american arms although they do produce a nubmer of they're own weapons too.
Yet arab nations still continue to threaten Israel....Palestine has terrorists and they are not willing to deal with them someone has too.
Bottom line is at least the U.S has some influence in the middle east

Let me preface this by stating I AM JEWISH and this support is well appreciated, but make no mistake, we know why they really help.
Christianity has no validity if Jesus never comes back (and personally I think the world is better off without him). To be brief, the Temple of Solomom is the is the key. It must be rebuilt before their messiah can make his triumphant and bloody return. All that remains of this temple is the wailing wall while one of the most sacred places in Islam (the rock where the false prophet Mohammed was fictionally taken up) rests on top of the location. It is imperative that control be kept over this location for obvious reasons.
My suggestions... who the hell cares about a race of terrorists and murderers? I am happy to see the support the US and England provide for Isreal regardless of their reasons. I only wish the world could support an ethnic cleansing of the west bank and gaza... but why stop there?

It easy to work out why they support Israel occupation. Think the Jewish lobbyist in the US lobby congress and remember the Jewish votes in elections. Plus the large amount of money sent to Israel by Americans Jews.
