lately I've noticed that I take shits more often, not even half an hour after I eat something I have to head to the bathroom. Is this normal? Normally I went once a day at around the same time.

you should take a dump often. For every meal you eat, you should have a bowel movement. Example: you eat four meals a day, you should crap four times a day. etc. It is normal to crap within a half hour of eating.

I don't know why people think they have problems when they poop often, but it's not a problem as long as they don't have super major cramping and/or diarrhea (Watery stools).

I have the same problem after I eat. It want be long before I will have to eat sitting on the "commode". I haven't talked with my Dr. yet, but at times I have left lower large colon pains in my left side. I suspect IBS...

Absolutely! The act of eating stimulates the entire digestive tract. If your entire system is well filled, then the process of elimination frees up intestinal space.

You need to talk to your Doctor You could have irritable bowel
syndrome or colitis or ulcers .Dont wait do it soon!

are you drining more water? are you getting more fiber? you may also have IBS. you should talk to your family doctor if it continues.
