Did you check the fuel pump fuse? (out under the hood on the passenger's side)

It requires three things to build a fire. (remember high school physics?)
10 Fuel
2) Oxygen
3) Heat
Fuel getting to the engine? Have you checked the fuel pressure at the test port?
Is the air present (Check the MAP or MAF sensor)
Check the compute for codes.
is there spark? If not, good chance there is a Crank Cam sensor failure. VERY common failure for these G.M. engines.
If it is these sensors, you MAY have a code for them in the computer.

You can get a little bit of information here---->

I had a similar problem with my 1991 Acura. The dealership had it for a long time, replaced the ignitor, coil, cap, and rotor. Problem was fixed for about a week, then came back. Upon second visit, it was determined the wiring harness off the distributor housing had some worn out wires (cracked insulation, etc.) that was causing problems. The harness was a $60 piece, and it fixed the problem. Moral - check your wiring if the obvious components test ok, or have been replaced.

Check out my site for some DIY hints on narrowing down why it won't start. On GM vehicles there is a connector usually near the battery to run 12 volts directly to the pump. There is also usually a test port on the fuel ine covered by a cap to test fuel pressure. You can press down the schrader valve (like on a tire) with a car key, etc. and fuel should spray out. (wear safety glasses, blah, blah, blah)

Do the tests on my site to narrow it down further and repost!

Have you changed the fuel filter? If not then the changing of the fuel pump was useless. Make sure it is getting fuel, add a little gas to the carb or throttle body and try to start it. If it does start change the filter.

be a little more specific with the problem. what sounds does it make when you try to start it? is the electrical system functioning properly, your battery not dead, your starter working alright. those would be the most foreseeable reasons for a car not starting.
