I can't say they are or aren't for two reasons:
1. I have never heard any accusations like they weren't.
2. But if they were, I am sure they wouldn't make an issue of it because the male populace would see that as weakness.

They get preferential treatment. They use their 'minority' status to get key committee assignments.
