Running XP....IE6.0...tried Firefox and Opera...I can't go to Google or Care2...anyone know what I screwed up.

if you are using a home net connection first check whether connection is working till the modem, if yes go to the system tray(where it displays pc time) and double click the local area connection icon click properties button, in the list scroll down and select internet properties and in that check whether your dns server ip has been entered properly, if not enter and click ok you are done!

reboot and see if that helps.
Windows DNS routine bites it.

You haven't screwed up the servers are down and google went bankrupt

Restore back to the day prior to you changing anything.. that is one of the benefits of XP.

try with your firewall off and then see if that fixes the problem

sounds like must be ur lan connection is dead i mean ur internet service wat ever u use like dsl , dial up or something else ask to ur internet service provider
