Why in the world would you want VHS tapes when you can get a DVD player for 25 bucks at Wally World?!!? Why not just ask where you can find new laser discs while you are at it?

Not new releases, no, as far as I can tell. Companies know that the demand is for DVDs today, VHS are obsolete, so it would be useless for them to release them in VHS, they wouldn't really make any profit out of it.

If you're still using only a VCR, I'd highly suggest that you get a DVD player for newer releases, they are very affordable nowadays. You're also most likely gonna enjoy the difference in quality between DVD and VHS.

VHS is going the way of the Betamax tap. These days you will have no alternative but DVDs.

There are becoming very hard to come by, these days. Sometimes, you will find them in the video bins in local supermarkets. It's like trying to buy cassettes instead of CD's. Not worth the effort.

It's cheaper just to buy a DVD player. But if your TV is older you'll need a new one. (I found that a conversion box is not good)

Not often, since more and more people own DVD players. Even fewer VCRs are being manufactured.
