You misunderstand the problem, because you're only hearing the half of the sentence that is spoken out loud.
The actual claim is that "they (whoever is getting bashed at the moment) don't have a plan that we like, and we're going to discard any plan that contradicts ours".
I've spoken with several people on this forum, who call themselves Republicans and demand alternative solutions. But admit that they reject out of hand any solutions that they declare to be 'liberal', which really means any solutions they don't like.
In other words, it's a lose-lose game. Any solutions that they don't like are discarded out of hand, which allows them to (falsely) claim that there are no other solutions being presented.
It's stupid and childish and I consider it a form of mental disease. Sadly, it's one that has spread to both of the major political parties, and is starting to become an epidemic among Americans in general, with no indication that the rest of the world is any better off.

I'm not a republican and I think getting into Iraq was a huge mistake, However we cannot cut and run now in Iraq, we are there we broke it we bought it. If we cut and run and withdraw we will have another Cambodia with 3 million dead and the same vacuum that was created in Afghanistan and put the Taliban in power. It seems to me this was the Republican plan all along.Unless there complete idiots. However the democratic plan is to cut and run.Maybe they should pick a candidate that has a chance to win or will actually fight. I think Kerry took a dive. He gave up.
I wont be voting for republicans the republican party has been taken over by Christian fundamentalist who are no differ ant then Muslim fundamentalist. The democratic party has been taken over by leftist Marxist who are just as nutty as the right . I think none of them have a plan other than to play the game and take the American people for all we got.

Democrats DO have a plan for Iraq and America. It's called Surrender. Let the UN dictate what we do as a nation. Peace at any price. Stop, or we'll yell stop again. Yup, give a new Republican team a try, but don't trust Democrats with the security of our country.

The Democrats wasn't those that lied to start up this conflict could in no way have been, it grew to become into not something yet Bush lies. How do get the thought could desire to have a plan , the place is Bush's plan he's the single that could desire to come back up with a plan, he began it what his plan at that factor. He did not have a plan his plan grew to become into to kill Saddam using fact he mentioned that Saddam tried to assassinate his Dad. It grew to become into preemptive conflict it is breaking the 2d shape, which states united statesa. would not takes hands against yet another united states except we are struck first, It wasn't via Iraq, it grew to become into Ben weighted down that had the planes flew into the twin Towers not Saddam,. he's not attempting to locate Ben weighted down. He went to Iraq on fake pretense, enable's see his plan, not the Democrats Plan. You Republicans look to forget approximately who's runs around asserting. Democrats never would have had a "plan" for Iraq in the first place. There is no reason why we should be over there right now.

I don't think either party has a plan to get us out of Iraq. This is a volatile area, that will never know peace. They have been fighting for thousands of years, it is part of their culture. They will be still be fighting in another thousand years ( that is if we don't destroy the world first).

The Democrats aren't a "new" team. They just take turns with the Republicans wiping their asses with our Constitution. A new team would make a real difference, and that would be the Libertarians.

the republican plan for iraq was, we go in and shoot a bunch of people, the rest welcome us with open arms, give us their oil, and become a democratic society despite the fact that they have no history of democracy. we leave in a year or two, and have guaranteed ourselves lots of oil for our buddies, and repbulicans getting elected everywhere we turn. that sound like a great plan doesn't it?

You're right! Neither political party has a plan. Their only concerns are their own hubris, arrogance, and avarice.
They don't give a damn about anything except themselves and lining their own pockets. -RKO-
