Because Jews are not a race, it is technically a religion. You can be married into a Jewish family or you can be converted into one with ease. Therefore, it is not a race at all, and the hatred and dislike of such cannot be called racism.
In addition, it is okay to dislike it for those people who understand religion and have a strong aversion against it.
Saying I have a dislike for Jews is not thing more than saying I have a dislike for organized religion, or religion in general.

For 43,
Bzzzt wrong,
Does this mean Jews with recessive trait of Cohen Mannheim Gene are not Jews?
How about people who married into a jewish family?
How about people who convert into one.

It is not a Religion, because a greater % of Jews don't believe in God or Torah. Jews are Jews because of their birth by the mother. Converts are not really Jews, maybe you consider them Jews by Choice, but never by Religion. Orthodox Jews do not recognize them, unless converted by them. And then they are still at best 2nd grade Jews. It is not supposed to be that way, but reality is, that it is so.
Therefore, on the basis of my first sentence, Jews remain a race and not a Religion. The first thing you learn in a Reform Synagogue, is that Jews or Judaism is not a Religion. Converts convert to the History, of the past, present and Future of the Jewish People, and are being indoctrinated as such. Take it or leave it !

not in any respect. In Israel there are a blend custom of human beings residing there. With what you're posting does no longer sound solid, yet the position is your source to again this up?? Did you get this from an Arab source?? i imagine of it really is the 'radical Islamists' who're racist adversarial to the Jews. Plus, even interior the U.S. there are nonetheless racists between us. they're each and every the position! So end retaining that Israel is racist and carry out somewhat more effective of your search for truly of searching at factors which have a pink meat with Israel. Do your homework! who's blowing up who??

Regardless of what you call it, it's still hate. I'm not Jewish and all I see is the Jewish people trying to hang on to their homeland and outside forces attacking them. They aren't the aggressors. I support anybody who defends their country by all means necessary against those who would not only choose to overtake them but commit genocide against them, I would do the same. The only thing obvious from what you have written is that you hate Jews and your uncomfortable with the label "racist". Beyond the technicalities of whether they are a "race" or not you still hate a whole people for just being who they are and that is just as repulsive.

It is racist to dislike anyone of color-whether is religious/race-what is the dislike for anyway-there is no such thing as a pure race and if you think that there is you are a fool-go back to the beginning and find that pure race-you will be surprise at what you find-it is OK to be some dumb, but not plum dumb-God put a head on your shoulder, use it to think and not for a hat rack.

We know that, and if someone inadvertantly referred to such, they may not have been fluent in English, which Shiraz, pisses you off. I personally think Yahoo should dump you as you are filled with hate and ignorance, but this is America and you are entitled to show off your little brain. I just wonder how long it will be until we hear about Shiraz the mass murderer, or Shiraz the Terrorist. Someday you are going to dump your idiotic perspective on the wrong person - and poof - you will be history and there will be one less angry, ignorant person in the world. To bad for you man, because you just don't get it.

there is a difference:
saying you dislike jews is different from saying you dislike the jewish religion.
you can disagree with someone but still like them. and not giving someone a chance based on religion is wrong.

Oh that is a good question.I think its because we have been conditioned to think we must accept Jews otherwise we are being an anti semite and they have suffered so much already. That is precisely why I dont feel Israel should be a country.

I can't understand why you anyone just because of their religion, for me to hate someone, they would have to do something really bad to me. If all this hatred stops, maybe the world would be like the Garden of Eden again.

people say "racist" because "racist" is faster than "prejudiced against various religions" or "prejudiced against various sexual preferences" or "prejudiced against various ideologies"
although some people view the jews as a race, or a race and a religion, separately
