Steve died doing what he loved. Most people don't get that opportunity in life.
Still, he will be missed.

When I first heard the news this morning, ( on television ) I was shocked & felt very sad for his family. Especially his wife & children. The only conciliation I had was in knowing that it happened so fast he probably didn't know what happened & felt no pain. And that he died doing what he loved !

This is soooo very sad. My children were so upset. They watch him all the time with my husaband. So very sad, he left behind a wife an 8 yr old daughter & and 3 yr old son. At least as they say, he died doing what he loved the most!!

actually, I don't really care. I just wish it could have happened some other time so that every second question I see on here today didn't have to do with "The Crocodile Hunter". It is quite annoying. Give up people, the poor guy is dead, his wife is available and the kids are going to an adoption agency.

Like most men, I think he was much happier dieing that way than sick in bed. In the west we call it dieing with your boots on. We all have to die. At least, as several others have said, he died doing what he loved doing. His wife and kids can be proud of him.

He loved to flirt with death and win,but death won over this time.He knew the risks, but he was doing what he loved to do.My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and frinds.
