Ok, I can understand women wanting a taller guy, the whole protective issue, can wear high heel thing. No problem, if you're 5'10", yeah a 6.0' guy would look more normal to be with. But what's with the 5.0' or shorter girls wanting 6.0' or TALLER guys? That I just don't get. I know from talking to girls that they are as insecure about their height as shorter men are but what's the rational for wanting a guy that much taller than you? And how do you justify being "heightist" I guess toward men when you yourself don't like being considered short?

Blanzer, I don't know enough about you to make an inform decision, if you're hanging out with basketball players all the time, then yeah it's no deal being the shortest or if your ride is a porsche same there.
As for myself, being short doesn't I mean I don't get women. It just means that I'm not the guy you fall in love with at first sight. There are many ways to a woman's... uh, heart, some just have to work harder for it.
But sadly, no short women have really stood up to the plate although Carista was close to coming up with a real answer.

I dont know but I have a friend and she is short and she only likes to date men that are WAY taller then she is. I asked her once about it and she said it is because there are a lot of things that she cant do and reach and so having a taller man around to do and reach them is very helpful. Which that might be true but I also think it is a compensation thing as well. They cant be tall but they can be with a guy who is tall. I am tall for a female so finding a man a lot taller then me is difficult but I have dated men taller and shorter then me.

Mine stoops down so much you can't tell he's about six feet tall. I guess I went for him coz he was the nicest to me out of all the ones who wanted to know me. Everyone else (who wasn't messed up) just wanted sex immediately and could care less about God. And he just happened to be tall and a male so that made my parents pretty happy too. Had nothing to do with tallness.
When I first liked a guy a lot, like LOVED, he was only a bit taller than me though. Hmm. So I guess I don't fit your bill....

Love comes in many sizes, and packages to each his own. Live and let live. Why do short men hate for a woman near their height to wear high heels? Everyone should be allowed to be themselves or a relationship is doomed from the beginning:-)

I don't think that's true...I'm usually the smallest guy in the crowd...I have no problem scoring..maybe it's the way you present yourself or your self-esteem could be damage..that's the trouble with the male ego, they think they have to be macho .

Haven't you heard the rumor? For every inch of hieght, therer is an equivalent inch and one half of penis.
What about the women between 5 inches and 5'10? I think it goes back to our primal instincts. Women want men who can protect them and a taller man would more likely not be attached than a shorter man. I saw on a show that even young girls are attracted to taller boys.
