I think the creature claimed he gave Icharys his wings, and etc. He might have came up from some kind of a sandpit but i'm not sure. The questions were asked in the morning and were effective for only one day, and if the kids asked certain questions they would turn into stone? At one point they ask for wings to fly. Sorry I dont know more, Does anyone know this movie?

in the uk we had a tv series that sounds similar called "5 children and it" hope this helps
