My wife does. I am about as American as it gets and a Catholic and my wife is a beautiful Egyptian and she is a Muslim. Let me go another step, we live in a 90 % Muslim country in the Middle east. My wife does not wear a Hijab (Veil) in public and she has long beautiful hair. When we go out on the weekend, she wears everything from tight jeans to mini skirts with heels. She is with the man she loves, she is extremely loyal as most Arabic woman and she does not care if other Muslims have a problem with her appearance. She has all the freedom in the world and thats why she loves me so much.I am blessed by God or Allah or whomever. PS...Her family and friends love me too.

In Iran they didnt in public. In the home the women usualy ran it unless there was company over. now when they would come here to america they would change... on my god did they. both my aunts did. i was born and raised here in america., my father never took me back to Iran with him because in his words "i'm to americanised" so to answer your question., yes some of the muslim women..SOME do have freedoms to do as they please. Especially when they come to the states... but religiously..... no

hmm.. it depends on the country. i mean many christian women don't have freedoms either. depends on the culture, not neccisarily the religion.
i'd say just tell your wife to be a little careful if ever alone in the streets.--doing just that could be illegal where you live. or she could be at risk of some kind of assault.
but a caring, beautiful egyptian woman with long flowing hair --i'd say you're blessed too! :)

Your wife is an exception. From what I've read about Muslim women, they have no freedom at all. I guess it depends on what part of the Middle East they're from. Anyway, you and your wife are an extremely lucky and happy couple. Best wishes for continued success and happiness.
