No I don't think that's true. I'm a male who has grown up with more female friends than male, the dating pressures often come from the male who feel compelled or sexually attracted to the female. The female however is throughout her life more mature than males, thus it would have to take a desperate act on his part to ensue a relationship or a moment of vulnerability on her part where she allows her guard to drop and allow the friendship line to be breeched...

Is that a bad thing, if you are friends and you go out together is it a date or did you just hang, even if HE paid. This how we build friendships and relationships.
