It took me 3 weeks and a lot of notes to the garbage men to throw out a garbage can that was finished with.

lol....I had that problem too....but a sofa we had was even worse.....too big they said.

well, i took the trash can off the back porch, that had the kitchen trash and some diapers in it. i took the lid off for some unexplained reason and i put it outside next to the fence. im guessing so when my husband took the trash out, the lid wouldnt blow away. well, an hour later before my husband came home to take the trash out, it stormed so hard. i didnt know it was supposed to storm. well, that trash can filled with water. the most god-awful smell and it was so heavy from the water. that was most interesting to haul off.
