Well, my mascara only advice is to apply it thinly and comb it through with a good quality eye-lash comb. It helps me.

Along with the other advice, after you curl your lashes (get the Shiseido Eyelash Curler), apply the mascara towards the base of your lashes by dabbing. Do not brush the mascara on. And dab only a few times because otherwise, it will start clumping.
The reason why celebrity eyelashes looks so great is because they have make up artists and they use fake eyelashes. They cut up pieces of a whole fake eyelash and glue bit by bit to get a full lush look. You can probably do it, but it will be time consuming and, ultimately, temporary.

My advice: Some people can wear mascara, some can't I have tried every brand out there. What works for me, is when I take the wand out of the container, I wipe all the excess mascara off with a tissue. The I use it on my lashes. Run an eyelash comb thru too if they still stick and are clumpy. I only do the top lashes, and try to concentrate on eyeliner more.

I know you said only mascara but get an eyelash curler and curl your eyelashes in three places: the roots/base, the middle and the ends. Then use a length and curl mascara. I like waterproof Maybelline Sky High Curves. It holds the curl all day and doesn't rub off.

If you have long spikey lashes after you apply mascara try curling your eyelashes first. Curling them will give them better shape and shorten them a tiny bit. You also don't have to wear black mascara if it looks to freaky or harsh. Try a brown mascara and remember to wipe the excess off the wand before applying.
If you have a lil more money another alternative that I use personally is perming and dyeing. About every 4-6 weeks I get my lashes permed so I don't have to worry about curing them on a daily basis and the dye they use for your lashes gives a much more "natural" look and your lashes stay soft.
Best of luck with whatever you decide to do!!

If your eyelashes are long why are you wearing mascara? If you need to use mascara still, then try to find on that makes your eyelashes thicker instead of longer. There are different mascaras for different purposes. (Lengthen, thicken, and many others). So try to avoid ones that lengthen. Hope that helps.

well with celebrities you never know what they really look like. makeup can change anything... most celebrities use fake eyelashes so that's why they look amazing!
since your eye lashes are already really long, go for a mascara that volumizes, not lengthens.
good luck!

use a light coat of mascara, apply only once and not a thick coat. if your mascara causes clumping, use a eyelash comb or switch mascara. It sounds like you put on too much.

Use CoverGirl Exact Lash, no clumps and super long length! To get celebrity lashes, curl your lashes before and after you apply mascara then comb your lashes with a lash comb to make them look natural.
