Tricksy question mate. I mean when EXACTLY are we talking about in their respective careers? Mel was f*cking cool in Mad Max 1& 2, Lethal Weapon 1 & 2 and Payback but quite clearly is now a total mentalist. Kevin Costner was superb in No Way Out and Dances With Wolves but has always seemed rather dull and has made more shite movies than good ones. So on reflection I'll go with Mel in his early years (and Payback) when he didn't seem so far up his own ****!

Come on man!! it has to be Mel over Kevin any day of the week and twice on sunday's!! I'm not saying i don't like Kevin because they are both fine actors! Its that Mel has more range as actor!!
