It depends on what look you are going for...

For everyday makeup try a very, very soft shade...
White, beige, soft gray, soft lilac....
If you choose to line your eyes, try a soft brown.

For a slightly more dramatic evening look, start with the soft shade of your choice, and then use a slightly darker, coordinating shade at the inside corners...
Line with a dark brown, or a black eye liner, top lid only.
You can line the bottom lid with a softer shade.

Finish with your choice of brown or black mascara.

Since your eyes are brown, go to the store and buy Almay Intense i-Color for Brown Eyes. Get the 3 pack of shadow that has purple, brown, and a light brown. Apply the purple to the lids of your eyes, the brown in the crease, and the light brown up to your eyebrows. I have this and it is AMAZING! You might also want to get a purple or brown eyeliner.... I suggest the purple; I also have the purple eyeliner. Finally, get black mascara. since your eyes are already brown, don't get brown mascara.

i would say to stay away from the blacks and dark dark colors,
it would draw too much attention to your pretty color of skin.
if you mix up a little brown in your eyeshadow, it would most likely turn out good, like another answer said, play around and find a couple mixes of colors you like.
but try to see if colors that you see in late spring/early summer, like blushy pinks and mild greens or blues work.

for eyeliner, use a purple/violet color to intensify your eyes :)
try CoverGirl Smoothers Eyeliner in Violet. it's about $4 at drugstores.

for eyeshadow, use a light neutral color. maybe a really light pink or purple. you should just experiment with colors and find one you really like!

good luck!

Try shades of peach or shimmery tan/brown, or maybe a light orange. Also yellow might look good.

i in my view have diminished dermis with beige/yellow undertones..hazel eyes and medium brown hair....i take advantage of browns on my eyes and blush shade..they also have a tri color eyeshadow compact on the drugstore that announces purely for brown eyes or purely for hazel eyes etc. for my lips i take advantage of maybelline or loreal lipgloss tube in melon it is style of sheer and extremely diminished with an hint of peach...pay interest on your brows. it is beneficial to attempt beginning place interior the colour nude.
