Funniest? The Warlock in Spite of Himself. Very hard to find now, but it's a riot.
What book or character do I identify with? Search for the Sun by Ellen Anthony.
Favorite novel or series of novels? The Lord of the Rings, although I admit the movies were better.
Favorite non-fiction book? Very hard to say. Leaning toward "Everyday Life in the 1800s," although I really enjoyed Jimmy Carter's latest.
Yes, I know I'm weird. I like books with fresh ideas.

Flashman - by George MacDonald Fraiser
(funniest, it is the first book in an extremely funny series of novels that take you through all the major military actions of Victorian Imperial Britian.)
Bee-luther-hatchee - by Thomas Gibbons
(Indentify, the main character is a white community college instructing middle age male, like me. And he has the audacity to try and write about a female character of color; although it is a play and not a novel. It is a play about a novel)
The Life and Death of a Druid Prince: The Story of Lindow Man, an Archaeological Sensation - by Anne Ross and Don Robins
(non fiction, they not only indentify the body, the make a good case for figuring out the exact date that his body was pitched into the bog).

The funniest for me is "The Collect'd Writings of St Hereticus". I identify the most with "Little Women"s Jo March. And my favorite non-fiction book is the "Little House on the Prairie" series, or, if that doesn't count (technically it's fiction, I'm told) then "The Story of Marie Curie".

For me, I would have to say that I love books with tragedy, adventure and romance. So I would have to say the book Taking Liberty. This book is such a thriller. I would have to say I am most like the main characters. I guess I have a heart for adventure, and romance as well. How cool, right? A non-fiction book for me would have to be a no-brainer. This book is called Into thin Air. Awsome book!!!

Woody allen's books are funny. The new book by Betty Bowers, America's Best Christian had me in stitches laughing, and Miguel Cervantes book that they based 'The Man of LaMancha' on was the funniest classic I ever read. Its entitled, 'Don Quixote.'

Any of Dave Barry's books are my funniest. Other than that it's Anthony Bourdain's "Kitchen Confidential". I was laughing so hard I had tears in my eyes.
"An Incomplete Education" is informative but humorous. For non-fic, I LOVE "Lies My Teacher Told Me".

I don't know what to answer. Just a comment
It seems that the Internet isn't beating the literature. Don't you think???
Many people have a strong and clear opinion about what they read. Congratulations.
A good book will always be a good book.
Thanks for your question
