Definately Gil.
Horatio, is how can I put this nicely.
He's so Plastic, the thing with the Sunglasses makes me cringe, but Lambchop isn't she under-rated?

Horatio, he has so much integrity and he's a real man and more sensible than Grissom who refuses to carry a gun! Horatio is more of a team player and always looks out for his team, backs them up when they get in trouble but doesn't patronise them like I sometimes feel Grissom does, especially with Nick in the early series and later with Sara. However Horatio could have taken better care of Tim by following up his gun maintenance. Horatio also seems more sociable, not at all socially inept like Grissom appears to be on occaision. At least neither of them are as closeted, self righteous or biased as Mac Taylor was in the first season, although he seems to be loosening up now too.

I like Grissom because he knows his job, uses science to back up his hunches. However, Horatio is more "human" with the victims families, shows he "cares" more, but all in all I would say that Grissom just has that extra edge over Horatio.

Gil Grissom. I do prefer CSI Miami but Cain's character has some cheesy lines and short pauses while he strikes a pose.
Is he supposed to be like that or is it really bad acting?

Grissom is the thinking woman's bit of stuff ( I've been told ) whereas Cain is a **** and has no emotion he has one sorry let me explain....
Picture Horatio standing near a body at a crime scene preferably outside someone will say something like
(Kelly) " Horatio so you think the vic knew his killer? "
(Horatio) Pause.........( hands on hips, look down, pause) " I think Kelly..........he may have known " (pause) look up at Kelly " all of them( emphasis on all of them ) look out to sea......( fumble for sungalsses) God I'm so cool.
Cain would give an orgasm whereas Grissom would give you a mental and physical one as well.( words from a female co worker not mine)

I prefer Gil over Horatio. I liked Horatio better on NYPD Blue, when he was just plain old Kelly.

Grissom, because Cain is smarmy and he sounds insincere most of the time. Gil is a lot more professional and not as condescending as Cain.

Grissom by far. Horatio is too stiff - he always does that wide-legged, hands-on-his-hips stance (which I hate) and the way he makes practically every line he says seem so heavy and intense is just too much. And I always want to scream "Put those glasses down, d*mmit!" If it weren't for Adam Rodriguez and Jonathan Togo I'd never watch.

i will always love gil grissom. he is more scientific and just seems smarter. plus he just has this sexy intelligent air about him. horatio is more of a field agent rather than a csi...he is never in the lab testing anything.
