Towards the end of the movie when he is fighting in the robotic tarantula, will smith beats up this karate dude, then will fights this guy who is a machine or something. That machine dude is about to hit will smith , and then he just falls out for no reason. Can someone explain to me what happened to that guy?

That was a pretty crappy movie, and I only watched it once. Let me see if I remember correctly. Will Smith hit him in the head with a sledgehammer to no effect. Didn't Kevin Kline's character reach down and pull some plug or something?
