There's a function that allows you to input the name of the song and it will bring up the name of every artist who ever sang it.

Those that have sung Ave Maria are too numerous to mention here - Pavorotti, Mario Lanza and Katharrine Jenkins to name a few.

Two of my favourites - one male and one female are Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman.

I also love to hear it performed by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.

I know Andy Williams did a version of it, but I don't know if he's the original singer.
Was it Maria Callas, the Opera singer?

Many people have sung it but my favorite version is by Mario Frangoulis.

The original song was written by Franz Shubert in 1825
