This is way far out but my mom has psoriasis and i keep a look out for "cures". Anyways theres this place in Turkey that has a pond with cleaning fish in it.. there are like 3 different species and each does it's own thing. One fish will eat the dead skin off of you, while another brings healthy blood to the area and another has some type of enzyme that helps heal what the other fishes have doen. It's suppose to work miracles... Good Luck!!!

I had a 13 year history of psoriasis, though I was in good health otherwise. But these severe large, thick and scaly excoriated plaques on my neck, ears, trunk and limbs ruined the way I was leading my life. I would be with red, inflamed itchy skin for most part of the year and these silvery scales would seem to be erupting without any reason. To make matters worse, blisters would appear over already red and itching skin. It was living hell.

I was treated with various options but nothing seemed to be working. Some of the treatments that I underwent in this depressing period of 13 years included tar preparation, tropical steroids and anthralin. I was also given light therapy many times but everything I tried would give me temporary relief.

And soon, after a few days I would be plagued with the situation again. In one of those moments when I was completely lost I stumbled upon this website just by chance. I read it and felt that as if someone had put the story my life on this web page. I was thoroughly convinced that if ANYONE can cure me of condition, it would be you.

And was I right, or what. I started recovering within 3 days of starting this treatment. Something that had become a painful part of me for 13 years was actually getting healed! My ears are healed and my neck is smooth again!. I am a month into the treatment and I have never felt better in my life!

I was diagnosed with psoriasis at age 14 and now I am 36 years old. You can say that I have tried just about every medicine both approved by FDA and trial without much success. Examples include Enbrel, Humira, oral meds, creams, oils, salts, coal tar, etc and the list is much more extensive that I can't even remember all of the names. But recently after someone shared this video https://tr.im/psoriasisTreatment2015YKt9 everything has changed. My psoriasis completely cleared by putting these changes in place. I only wish I'd taken photos of before and after because it truly has been miraculous. I am getting married in Oct, 2015 and I am wearing a strapless gown that also shows my back and I am confident (not like before) that my skin will be soft and pretty vs red and flakey.

Different things help and trigger psoriasis for people from what they eat to the products they use I personally have had psoriasis for many years and found creams don't work or if they do it's temporary things! I've found that what can help is if after shower you use a hard towel to rub your skin then put on your moisturiser I find when my skin is sore lavender oil in the bath can help when it's very itchy I use Australian body care there body lotion can helps to came it down also loccitane sher butter lavender helps too! try qvc if your going to try different products as you get a 30 day money back guarantee if the product doesn't suit you
Also be careful with what soap powder you use or anything that can irritate your skin that includes the foods you eat

My mom is a big fan of Joe Graeydon and his natural approaches. I believe he has a few books out as well; the most popular one The People's Pharmacy: Guide to home and herbal remedies.

The book says something about Tumeric. Use it in your food, sprinkle it all over every thing and eat. This has helped a friend of hers tremendously within about 2-3 weeks it was significantly reduced and he was feeling better. He used the spice on his food; but there may be capsule supplements available now. Check with your local health food store or Herb store.

You many find that Tumeric comes in another name in an herbal cap with Boswellia...it is also called Curcumin. Both help with inflamation.

Give this a shot. It may take a bit longer being the Natural or herbal route, so be sure to give it enough time. Can't hurt to try it. Good luck, hope you feel better.

You might also look into doing an elimination diet to see if their is a certain food you are eating that may be causing your psoriasis. In fact I would recommend starting their first before using creams and herbs. You have to remember everyone is different and what works for one person may not work for you. Good luck

I know a bit about herbs ( A level equivalent) I would try mixing oatmeal, or porridge with some lavender flowers, you can tie them up in a piece of cloth if you want to prevent a mess. Then put it in the bath while it running hot, this will bring out the essential elements of both herbs which will help you're skin considerably. Please be sure the bath is not too hot, use the hot water for releasing herbal qualties/energies. You can also do it without the cloth idea, even rubbing wet soggy oatmeal on your skin will help relieve some of the rawness, as it is an emulsifier.
