I'm not sure if this was a legal deal, but it was a steal for me, lol. Last September I had gone to a local old navy and purchased approximately $185.00 worth of school clothes for my son. I wrote a check for the amount and they were having trouble running it through there new automatic transaction machine, (not sure of what it's called, but the check goes through instantly like a debit card). Anyways, after giving some information over the phone, etc..., they gave me my receipt and my voided check back. To my surprise, whoo-hooo, the check never went through!!! I kept waiting, and after about 7 months, I finally put the money to other good uses!
