I have watched the croc hunter for almost ten years and how been amazed with his abilities and knowledge. I met him once when I was in florida and he was awesome. He will be truly missed.

Is there a way we can send our condolences to the family? How is Terry and the children. Anyone know? This is so sad.

Steve and Terri set up a fund called Wildlife Warriors, which can be accessed through the Yahoo.7 Australian site. Donations can be made there to honour Steve's dreams and work and ensure what he worked so hard to achieve can continue to carry on. Sorry, i do not have the link, we are still sort of numb here. The reports airing now out of the coroners office, though unofficial, have stated that it was cardiac failure as the barb actually pierced directly through his heart. His body is expected to be returned to the Sunshine coast around midday today for family to make arrangements. We know the depth of our devastation so one can only imagine the immense pain Terri, the children and family are suffering.

here is the address...

http://www.qld.gov.au/announcements/steve_irwin.html

I filled out the form and when the page refreshed, this was the message I got: "Thank you for your message of condolence and support. Your message will be included in the Condolence Book to be presented to the Irwin family."

Short of getting a home address, this seems to be the best way to go about it. As it is a government site, I believe it. I hope this helps you!

they own the australian zoo. us Aussies send flowers to their zoo in Queensland. i think you can send an email via the zoo's websites.

Being part Aussie, i reckon Terri will slowly read all those condolences during those dark lonely nights.

that's really kind of you, but unless you know them personally i don't think it's a good idea to try to send anything. give terry and her kids some time, they don't need strangers all over them.
