hello DEAR!

Maleme and the surrounding region is among the nicest places on Earth! Blue, clear and clean, safe and hospitable skies and sea, wonderful people!
You are lucky to be there! Enjoy!

I visited Kato Stalos near Chania in 1993 and the bus took us to Maleme and it is a lovely part of Crete. Not as built up as some of the resort ... appears to be more traditionally Greek.

i've been to chania but i was a kid at the time. it was really nice from what i can remember - the harbour was lovely and lots of great restaurants. people are really friendly and the weather is obviously great! theres a lot of history to see in different parts of crete and nice places to visit that aren't trashy like the other greek islands x
