i have thought about donation. It can make a couple very happy. But instead my friend ended up being a Sargent mother. She carries the baby for another couple that cannot have a baby of there own. They have done this three times and claim it makes them very happy. They also get about $30,000 each time they do this. But also, you can not get attached. So that part is hard. But well worth it. there are many many great parents out there that cannot make baby's on their own. you will have to go through alot of background work and alot of testing before you can do any of these things.

The question is: which should I donate first - the chicken or the egg?

I had a chicken once. I donated a couple eggs to a homeless guy.

Yes, I have thought about it, since I was going to be a an unemployed grad student and needed extra money. I was advised not to do it, because someday some kid may come looking for me.

I've considered it in my younger days but i'm glad i never did it. Besides they probably wouldn't want my eggs anyways. but it's just wiered the thought that your biological children can be out there in this world and you know nothing of them....

Nope.
It would be odd for me to walk down the street and see a child that looks just like me, or always be wondering " is that my child?'
Never mind the possibiblty of one of my kids hooking up with one of my "donor" kids. EEKS
I would be more inclined to carry a baby for someone, as long as it wasn't my biological child.

I feel for woman that can't have children but I would never be able to do something like that. It's not a natural thing. I'm totally against it.

No- because that would be MY child- I could never give away a kid. I applaud people who can do that. It's a wonderful gift for women who can't use their own but it's not for me.

Yes, and I've considered being a surrogate mother, too.
