Since when do women see the superhero in the men already in their lives, rather than fantasise about the man they can never have?
Clark was in the dreaded 'Friends zone' so even though he had everything she was looking for in a man, he would never get the opportunity because he was too 'domestic'. She wanted the mysterious stranger instead - even though the two were one in the same man.
I tell you. It's not a comic book. Thats real life!

I know! Maybe she always knew that Clark Kent was Superman. Or maybe she suspected that he was superman but didn't want to be accused of being crazy or lose her job by asking a coworker if he was superman. Or maybe she is just dumb! lol

Cause she's repressing it...because it's more magical that way. And Clark Kent is a nerd, thus he's not likely to be Superman in her eyes.

Gee! Maybe cause she was busy thinking about hittin superman and avoiding Kent. A true modern woman wouldn't have split hairs and done both of them then she would have known for sure.

Well, in the comics she and Clark did get married and she knows. Or at least she did. I think. Not sure now, cos every now and then DC comics wipes the slate clean and starts things from scratch. Forget I said anything...

I have no idea and I always find this sort of thing slightly annoying.Its like some characters in soaps when there husbands/wives are having affairs and they don't know,and its blatantly obvious,or when someone tells a lie and they look really suss.How thick can they be.
