What is the difference between fact and opinion? A fact is merely an opinion backed up by evidence. The progress of knowledge is a process by which that which was considered fact is shown not to be so, and is then surplanted by that which is thought to be so now.
But truth is something different yet again, for it is beyond both fact and opinion. It is because we do not know the truth that we strive after knowledge.
There is a saying that when the whole valley is flooded all the little ditches are filled up.

Looking at this question I'd say facts, as they are "there" and you can't make anything else of it.
Opinion can be true of course, but each person has his/her own opinion about the definition of Truth, and what one thinks with all his/hers bone in his/hers body is the truth...it might be nonsense to another... It's more philosophical and surely depends on society one lives in. So that rules out the possibility of being the absolute truth!
But there is a tricky part left in the truth of facts, they can be seen as true because we don't have the knowledge yet to make anything else of it than the truth, and suddenly a new fact shows up that undermines the first fact....
What I'm trying to say is that the absolute truth does not exist, only in ones mind...

In some 'things' a backside can look 'bigger,' so a relative opinion is somewhat valid, especially if asked for.
However, given the nature of the beast, it is always wise to ask whether you answer will be acceptable, or attacked ('viciously' or otherwise)..!
Truth, is subjective. Subjectivity does no necessarily invalidate your truth.
'Facts,' from my understandings, are interpretations of given data and or evidence....
..though an eminent someone (it might have been Einstein!) said something like, 'There are no such things as facts. There is instead information expressed with prejudice and presented with dogma....' or something like that.

Truth is fact. In ur example, u would say it doesnt look big because thats the nice thing to do. Yes, doing what is right is not always easy or truthful for that matter

Truth is in the eye of the beholder. In the case of the bottom thing, the answer is always no. (and thats without a pause as if you are thinking about it, by the way)

Truth by definition is fact. Nothing but that.
Take people who talk about "my truth", "your truth" with a pinch of salt. What they are really talking about is belief or opinion.
Truth is absolute, yes or no, nothing inbetween.

If that is the question, then truth depends on distance and speed, ie how far are you away (can she slap you?) or can you run faster than she can
