His obvious love for his wife and his adoration for his children.
I saw them when they were on Oprah and it was obvious to anyone that watched that they were his sun and moon.
Steve and Terri were very much in love and now daddy will never come home and hold them again...that is the REAL tragedy in this and what REALLY makes it so sad.

Yes, I heard the news of his death and was taken back by it. The man had a real zest for life and a passion for his work with animals. He lived on the edge knowing that he might survive. Most of us don't have these qualities but like to see someone that does.

His zest for life. How he seemed fearless and brought so much excitement to all of us in his shows. I am so sorry and sadden to hear about his death. I am shocked it was not by a croc. He did die doing what he loved my thoughts are going out to his wife Terri and their children Bindi and Bob.

I liked the thing that kept me entertained and what killed him and that was how he took so many chances and he pushed the limit.
