Get rid of Religion.....It's the only answer...

There will probably never be world peace, but it might be possible to eliminate large wars. But to do so would require that people see themselves as citizens of humanity rather than as jingoistic citizens of some nation.
That would require a change in educational systems worldwide, which I just can't see happening considering that such systems are almost universally state controlled and designed to produce obedient soldiers and citizens.

The world needs the Enlightenment that England & USA experienced a couple hundred years ago, leading to capitalism (not merely an econ system, but rather a capitalist culture).

1. Institute Democratic institutions in all countries. And then support them even if we don't like who is voted for (Palestine, France)
2. Re-evaluate effectiveness of intergovernmental bodies (U.N., World Bank)
3. Remove people and regimes that are bent on power, domination and oppression (Venezuela, Syria, Pakistan)
The reason the world continues to have such belief in continued war is the from the influence of socialist ideals.

The simple, but terrifying answer?
Complete nuclear armament of all nations. Think about it, would America have atatcked Iraq if it could have fired Nukes back? Would Israel attack hizbollah if they could throw ICBM's around?
A scary world, but safe in the mostl iberal sense of the word

A mass world war that ends billions of live's world wide . WITH only one surviving religion or beetter the lack of one .till this happens war will always be around . ITS the my God and ways will kick your Gods but .

Separate the church from the state in every country...
Also, make it a crime, punishable by death if a political leader is found to have stolen money - or personally profited from his position as a political leader. (Bush's brain, Dick Cheney would be OUT!)
Also, make it a crime punishable by death if a political leader starts a war against another country, based on false pretenses.
