A hero was anyone that stepped up for someone that needed help. My dad was a hero. I'm 39 now, by dad has passed away, but he's still my hero. I try to live by the morals he taught me. I stop to help people in need like he did. I pattern much of my life after the greatest hero I've ever known. My dad.

Hero at 4 probably meant some cartoon character.. at 10 it was probably a teacher or big time celebrity or something... now as an adult I see it's all pointless and think heroes don't exist

I don't remember those specific ages but sometime between those years I saw a Tarzan movie with Johnny Weismuller. It was an old movie by that time but new to me. Tarzan pretty much became my definition of hero.

I don't remember at the age of four but at ten years I remember clearly. My heroes were Mike Schmidt and Pete Rose MLB Players. Back then there wasn't all the hype about steroid use. Back then it was the real deal. Back then it was an American pastime. Back then they played for the love of the game.

I remember screaming out to Barney to save me...not that I was in any danger. I think I pretty much thought of my mum and dad as the greatest people alive, like my hero's, but its always good to have back-up!

I think when I was four my heroes were people in my life like grandpa, mom etc.. When I was 10 my opinion was more worldly! :) So I guess Grandpa and Kirk Cameron were my heroes!

When I was four hero meant superhero. for me it was anyone with a cape. at ten i realized it was people like cops helping others, but at ten I don't think we realize there's more to helping others, like risking your life, but we have an idea.

Hmm...my hero when I was four was Pee-Wee Herman. Possibly my mom or the horse, Black Beauty. When I was ten? Oprah Winfrey. She's still a hero to me.
