Wow! This hits hard! Ecclesiastes 5:2 says: "Be not rash with your mouth, nor let your heart be hasty to utter a word before God, for God is in heaven, and you upon earth; therefore let your words be few." Thanks God He is a loving and forgiving Lord! With these words I say good bye to all, after 7 hours in this portal! May He bless you all.

Why is my best friends father dying of cancer? She lost her mother and brother in the same year. Her husband has a heart condition. She has a special needs child and she took care of her brother before he died, My father and grandmother died the same week. I did the same thing that woman did. I still curse God. It seems all the good hearted people get slammed with trauma and tragedy and the evil soulless ones have a smooth ride. I hate God. He is nothing but a narcissistic, malignant, cruel, harsh God who does not believe in free will. Just read the Ten Commandoments and you can see he wants you to fear him or you'll go to hell. Well I would rather be in hell than in heaven with a vengeful spiteful God who says you shall worship no other God but me. Really think about that statement, that says it all.

I say the lesson is: The mother just "knew" her daughter died in the crash and was so shocked when it was her on the phone that gave her heart a shock. She should have prayed that her daughter wasn't one that died and had faith that her daughter would live.? It is a sad story if it is true. Her daughter would have been wondering what was wrong with her mother when she stopped talking.

Lesson #1 - not to take life for granted

Lesson #2 - don't assume anything

Lesson #3 - get a new doctor - if his diagnosis was correct, she would have been dead when she heard about the crash or even the news of her condition

That story is so totally unbelievable I'm sorry I wasted my time. How did you get to tell it?
If she had had such a bad heart condition, her doctor would not have told her about it over the phone.
If she dropped dead from her daughter's call, how did you/the daughter know about her seeing the news about the plane crash or the doctor's phone call?
Were you trying to impart some self-righteous BS with that story?

Possibly saying don't make assumptions until you know the facts? Or something about not cussing out God?

Sounds like an urban legend with the moral that things are not always as they appear.

Urban Legend becuase no doctor would have that conversation over the phone.

the only sensible answer: whatever god you believe in bad things are still going to happen. Get over it, and be nice to people. Life is too short.

Hmmm.... Strange things happen. Just live your life to the best you can every day and don't put things off 'til tomorrow because you might not have a tomorrow.
