GETTYSBURG, Pa. (AP) — About 30 Ku Klux Klan members proclaimed hatred for blacks, Jews, gays and Latinos as they stood behind barricades at the Civil War battlefield where Abraham Lincoln delivered the Gettysburg Address.
True we have freedom of speech and assembly, but when can we call a spade a spade and stop allowing such misuse of these rights? They also called for the Troops to come home......so they could stop the "illegal aliens" from entering the US. When will they understand that the world is evolving and they need to evolve with it? And for those who look at the US through rose colored glasses, please don't respond with anything remotely along the lines of "the Klan are harmless".

Well they have not been killing anyone lately so No. They have a right to assemble and say what ever they like just like everyone else. If they start looking like they are going to start killing people again than the answer to your question is Yes.
But I think their time in history is past. They are but a Shadow of the threat they once were.
Part of being an American is respecting people's right to hold different opinions. If some folks think that I am inferior because of who I am than so be it. That's just something I am going to have to live with as a price for living in a free society.
And I too am free to express whatever feelings I have for them. Which is pity, not hate.

What KKK crimes are you concerning? i haven't heard of any lively crime committing KKK communities in like 20-30 years. interior the 1960's LBJ signed the Civil Rights Act and after that persons committing crimes based on race must be charged federally. Is there any particular case you're asking approximately? do you understand of somebody who has committed a criminal offense and hasn't been punished for it?

Yes, I think they should. Back in 1969, more people despised the KKK than the Viet Cong(not that the Viet Cong wasn't despicable). Did you also know that another far-right organization called the National Alliance actually praised the 9/11 attacks?

Hello? The FBI has been tracking them forever.
The came and infiltrated them in the south during the 40's and 50's and broke most of the organizations up. Its the "newer organizations" that are currently being watched now.
Also, other U.S. Terrorist organizations are Earth Liberation Front and Animal Liberation Front.

yes, so should street gangs like the bloods and crips, the new black panthers, the mafia and drug dealers. As they have shown in L.A. perhaps some police departments.
