He could easily but he wont. Roger is going to retire this year or in two years. There probably wont be enough chances for Howard to see Clemens, which is too bad because Howard could develop into one of the greatest homerun hitters ever and Clemens is argueably the greatest pitcher ever. Would make a good story if Clemens moved to the NL East so they'd face eachother a bunch but thats not going to happen. He doesn't have much time left in today's game to do it either.

Absolutely, any hitter can hit a homerun off of any pitcher on any day. Not to mention that Ryan Howard is just a badass. He can definitely hit a homerun of any pitcher in the league.

Why would it be impossible for Howard to hit a homer off the Rocket? Howard is a great hitter and Clemens is old. Sure he can.

Ryan Howard could hit a home run off of anybody including some of the all-time greats of the past. The guy is amazing. Just hope it doesn't come out he's been on steroids - hope its all natural talent.

the 2d time around the league this guy should not be so great. Gary Rasijch became meant to be a 40 5+ HR guy, yet whilst he have been given to the majors, he iced over, had 10 hits in his first 80 5 ABs, and 9 of them have been solo HRs, had 9 RBI, and have been given sent backpedal. See the place this guy is after 200 AB in the previous making predictions, something now could be a pipe dream. I smell "flop" right here.

"Could" he hit a homerun? Of course he could!

Almost any major league batter could hit a homerun off of almost any major league pitcher. Ryan Howard would certainly be no exception.

That boy can mash!

Yes, It's not like Clemens hasn't given up a home run before!

NO way! I mean only the truly great players like Corey Hart (Brewers) could do something like that...I mean Hart has something like four homers this year already and one of them was against Clemens! There's no way Howard could do something like that! :)
