it has about 120k miles. It wasnt doing anything wierd until about a few days ago. Sometimes my RPM Gauge doesnt work and my transmission acts fine, sometimes my transmission slips or doesnt shift into second and it slips while i'm doing 75 on the free way. I dont know if it could be a computer issue, or the transmission itself. Does anyone have any clue which it could be or how much it would be to rebuild the trans.

Chances are that the transmission is about to fail.
The best thing you can do is take it to a REPUTABLE transmission shop for diagnostic. There is a SLIGHT chance it is computer related, but don't get your hopes up.
It probably is going to need major repairs; a fluid change is out of the question.
If you can find a reputable shop they should be able to give you an ESTIMATE for either very little or free.
But consider this, if the shop has a good reputation, they are not going to sully it by shooting from the him, as it were. They don't have chrystal balls, so they may need to actually do a partial disassembly to identify the cause of your problem.

All this said, NOW may be the time to bite the bullet and trade it in, while it still runs.
Good Luck
