In 1984 Olympics, India finished 5th. In 1986 World Cup, India finished last. In 1990, they finished 10th, 1994 - 5th, 1998 - 9th and 2002 - 10th. In the 2004 Athens Olympics, India finished 7th. In the Olden days, India won 8 Olympic Gold Medals!!!

that's b/c in the old day's India used to be good but now not alot of ppl from India like to play hockey like the rest of the world do plus i don't think there are really ne good players in India who can get a hang of NHL style of hockey as the rest of the world do.
Hell if U. S. would play cricket India and the rest of the world would beat the U. S. cricket team hands do.
