how many times did you have to say candy man in front of the mirror? did you say it and did the film spook you? freaked me out for ages and gave me nightmares .am i a big wuss?

Candyman scared the living daylights out of my girlfriend too.
Just looked up on the internet for you and found out you have to say it 5 times in the mirror.
Great film really enjoyed it myself.

Candyman was completely underrated. Great horror film without the complete stupidness of Freddy Kruger.

They say it 5 times, just did it, nothing happened! Not that scary, I watch horror films on my own too! Oooooh!! You're not a big wuss, some people find some films scarier than others.

You are not a big wuss. It freaked me out too. Though I did say Candy man about 10x, I waited till I was rather drunk!!!! Then completely freaked.

yes. You had to say it 3 times. Freaked my family out running round the house saying it near every mirrror. Didn't spook me as I spent most the time behind a cushion!!!!!

No but when I was small I got tricked in to saying bloody merry in front of a mirror and saw a woman in a white dress covered in blood and she was floating above the ground with her toes pointing towards the ground coming towards me and in a strange loud whisper she said come with me, come with me. Over and Over waving me towards her.

It was five times peolpe, FIVE TIMES... F...I...V...E... And no, I never said it when I first saw it - too spooked out. Now, of course it is just popcorn after they sequeled it to death. Production companies could ruin a wet dream once profits become involved.
