If you know you can afford a child or you hate children with a passion, why have sex when you know there is a 50/50 chance you may bring one into this world? Dont give that bulls-h-i-t about we were caught up in the moment or it just happened. I think if you are man or woman enough to have sex, the you should be man or woman enough to take care of your responsibilty!
When responding, please exclude rape or incest possibities, becuase this is a totally different issue. This question is within the context of consentual sex.

Level 2 says:
But what if you are in a long term committed relationship or are married and you want to get thru college or make sure you have the right set up before you have kids? Do you really expect these people to go against their biology?
DONT HAVE SEX!!!!!!!! IF YOU KNOW YOU HAVE GOALS YOU HAVE TO ACCOMPLISH, THEN DONT HAVE SEX!!! IF THIS MAN IS NOT WILLING TO WAIT UNTIL YOU FINISH WITH YOUR GOALS, THEN MOVE ON TO THE NEXT PERSON!!!

Agree,
People need to use self control. There are consequences to your actions.
The Baby did not do anything that makes it deserve the Death Sentence!
Birth Control Pills are a form of abortion, (many really are), and don't stop STD's, Condoms are not safe or effective against Pregnancy, or STD's.
Believing that they work has been the down fall of many young people.
We need to follow God's way, not the worlds way!
Peace!

Actually, the percentages for birth control and condoms are a lot more positive than 50/50. Birth control, anyway, is close to 100% perfect at keeping a woman unpregnant, and condoms are near that as well. The negative percentages come simply because of the moments when a condom isn't put on right or tears, or if the birth control is forgotten to be taken. So if you do everthing correctly, you should have no problems keeping from getting pregnant. Many people do not want to abstain, because sex is a pleasurable thing for them. I abstain, but it is simply for my personal fun to prove to myself that I can do it. I understand that it is a part of many Christian communities to promote abstinance instead of condoms and the like, for various reasons. I just hope you can understand that not everyone holds those views and they do enjoy being with their partner in that way, regardless of marriage or not.

That is why back in a Great Grandparents age group they had 10 to 15 children. Sex is the most intimate thing, along with feeling great pleasure, between two people, that life can offer. It can be a great stress reducer in addition. Why would you not want to have sex with your partner if there are other ways to control having children with the cost of raising children? Yes, take care of your responsibilities by using birth control. Abortion is that of choice up to the individual. Educate the young generation to be smart about sex and provide them with the tools to keep them from becoming pregnant. If it wasn't for sex, would you be here to ask this?

But what if you are in a long term committed relationship or are married and you want to get thru college or make sure you have the right set up before you have kids? Do you really expect these people to go against their biology? Birth control, when used properly is 99% effective. It's not hard to take a pill everyday. I've made it 5 years (knock on wood) and no kids! And I'm happy too.

Because we are humans, i.e. a very intelligent species of ape, and have managed to get to a stage where we can have the fun without the consequences. Enjoy it, instead of trying to spoil it for the rest of us. I'm talking about birth control only. How can any reasonable person equate the two? Abortion should only be the very last resort.

Well if every body abstain from sex ,just because, we'll miss out on alot of people that changed the world for the better (Jesus). Its out of poverty that most progressive minded leaders came from. So people be fruitful and multiply don't exchange whats real (life) for whats not (money).
Your reward is not always enitially!

Excellent question. Society has become very much an instant gratification based one. Sex feels good, so, there you go.
If sort of goes along with the, "if you've been drinking, why do you drive?" Lack of self control or lack of care about others, or both.
Acceptance of responsibility doesn't effect them.

you might as well try to stop breathing. there are parts of human sexuality that we can not control. at first the innate desire for sex
was for the preservation of the species. the more members in the tribe the safer it was and the more food could be gathered. the desire for sex is a natural state in every living creature on earth, except maybe for you. when one tries to suppress the urge society ends up with rapist, perverts and fallen priests.

the government should not be able to tell them to cover something, no longer purely delivery administration. What approximately all the different people who prefer their prescriptions coated too. All of those women people who won't have their delivery administration coated are at present procuring it now so i do no longer see how this might make issues worse for every physique. actually abstinence is taken under consideration one of those delivery administration for people who've self administration.

It used to be normal to only have sex in marriage. However, it is almost rare now to have a man and woman get married and still be virgins. It's not impossible, folks.
