Well, I've been in an Evo 8 and it scared the b'jesus out me.. I reckon the Evo looks and drives nicer although both cars are pretty ugly it has to be said!
Not sure what difference there is between the 7 and the 8 however - both very quick cars!
p.s. Avoid the Corsa! Designed by monkeys and built by plough horses.

No normal mortal could drive either of these cars to there max.
The impreza is faster in a straight line and the boxer flat four engine sounds the dogs nads (now you have to agree)
Id go impreza you would get one cheaper and that BIG air intake on the bonnet makes you smile.

The evo is apparently the better car, but the impreza is more popular, that means cheaper parts, cheaper used value. personally i prefer the impreza, but i love a bargain.
