I am going to get slim ps2! I want to know are they good and very reliable? my friend has one and said it wont play all ps2 games? My fat ps2 is old and wont even playMY GAMES,like madden 07!(I PLAYED IT TWICE) How good is yours?

I just bought mine recently and I haven't had any problems with it. The smaller, sleeker design is nice and although I don't have many games for it it still plays good. If you've got the money to put up for it I say go for it! Get the component video cable if you can too, makes everything much clearer on HDTV's.

mine has been perfectly fine i have had no problems with it. since they make hundreds of thousands of ps2's some of them are bound to be defective. i used to work in a video game store, PLEASE take my advice. BUY THE WARRANTY!!! it doesn't cost that much and it is very useful to have in case something breaks.

my bf got his ps2 when they first came out, 5yrs ago, and he hads never had no problems with it,
