If you look at curent scenario you will find plastic every where however there are questions and concerns raised by environment loving people. I am wondering what will happen to plastic in next twenty years.

I think it will still be around, and new uses found for it since it lasts a long time. Maybe they will ask us to turn in our old plastics and make something new with them. Currently I think they just make roads with plastic although I thught I heard they also make winter jackets.

Good question...it seems like plastic has taken over as the "New Metal" it is reusable in some cases, which is a good thing, but it can be extremely toxic. Plastic seems to be here to stay and I am sure that technology will continue to advance and researchers with try using various mineral enhancements to achieve different results, so the plastic we are using today could be drastically different in 20 years.
