Have you ever met someone who seems to purposely want to make you feel inferior?
Why do some do this?
We think its because they are countering their own intimidation.

That's a good question. I'm not sure why some do that but I do know what you are talking about.
Probably is intimidation.

It's true that some people make others feel inferior. It may be true that they are countering their own intimidation but most of the times they do this on the behalf of a strategy they follow to be succesful and to feel superior. They have been made to feel like that before so they know what they need to do to have others in control

You are right there are some peope who enjoy and get a thrill out of making people feel small and inferior. The reason they do this is because they are insecure themselves and they want to make themselves feel good. It's a psychological problem. They may have been tormented or put down all their lives and they continue to do it to others.

i think some people do this is to make themselves feel better and most races always try to speak up for their own race when he could be the only one speaking for himself or example the KKK they seem to put it out there that white people hate black people or any minority so much when if you look at this world their are so many interracial couples and there will continue to be more and things have changed since yes it's still racists because we all want to blame problems in this world on someone or race and i don't think we look at this and stop and say this could be our problem as human beings no one does nowadays are skin color seems to be so important what happened to us being human beings it seems like that is non-existence in this world and i don't think it's imtimidation i think it's the fact that we can't learn to work together and help each others out

Oh yes. And you also get the people with the backhanded compliments which are just as bad!
People who do this generally feel insecure and do this to other to make themselves feel better. Also some people are just so stuck on themselves that in their minds they really think they are superior to others.
In my book people like that walk around with a big invisible L on their foreheads that everyone but them can see!

I don't have to look any further than how my own sisters and brother make me feel each time they are around me.My own sister has called me and my husband names that are derogative and she enjoys causing us pain.Yes I believe it is that I intimidate her with my love for my mom. That I take care of our mom without needing anything but her love in return.

Yes. People do this all the time they pick on someone who they feel is weaker to make themself feel better cause they are insecure with who they are.

Yes, I know people who talk down to others. One just got Dr. infront of her name so now she thinks she is better than everyone.
