I can browse the internet using IE 6.0 without problem but if I try to use my AOL browser, I get an error message 'Action canceled - internet explorer was unable to link to the web page you requested. The page might be temporarily unavailable'. The problem also affects any emails I receive through my AOL email with links. Click on the link and I get the same error message.

The AOL browser did previously work but something occurred around the same time as I downloaded a security update from microsoft.

Any ideas?

You can try Firefox without uninstalling Explorer and see how it goes. It has a popup stopper too.
You can get it from here, also check out the new photo software, V good, both free :)

System restore your computer back one day at a time, till the problem is fixed. If you remember the day that you installed that microsoft update, then system restore your system to the day before that.
