Married men put themselves in a commitment upon getting into marriage. With a bond of marriage such commitment goes with the reponsibilty which makes men feel losing their independence. Men independence is never lost but his obligation to maintain loyalty and respect to his wife often gives him such feeling of losing independence.

If personal independence (which is a bit of a fallacy, anyway) was of such importance to a man and he believed that wedlock dismantled such independence, then he would choose never to get married.
When people fall in love they realise that the benefits of said love, companionship and (this might be a revelation to you!) the fun they have with their partners far outweighs the convenience of being able to go the pub whenever they want.
And why do you assume that it's only men who give up their independence?

To a certain degree. When married you are no longer autonomous. You have your wife and her feelings to respect. You also have added responsibility for her and any children that come from that marriage.
But, don't dispare! You can still have a certain degree of independence...just not to the excess you have when you're single.
A marriage is not two people becoming one. It is two people sharing life TOGETHER.

Women would like to be part of their husbands' lives at all times. They want to get all the attention from their beloved half. They are building up their own long term relationships because women are more emotional than men. Somtimes they are just too used to it they don't know they took men's independence.

Who told u they had Independence anyway before marriage.
Most men always need a woman. First their mother, sister later wife and daughter.
If their wife dies or they divorce in no time they got a new one. We women can live longer without a man.

I Think you've got it the wrong way around, it's the women who lose out on most things, because a lot of men get lazy

Easy, just like government. You give up some freedoms to have a more stable environment. If you are in a good marriage, you give up only the freedoms that you both AGREE to give up. In a bad one, you are dictated to just like a real life dictatorship.
There is a "sureness" about a good marriage that NO other relationship can replace.
