I learned how much money my sister is on, as a teacher of erm, less able children.
I am shocked.
Why are there inset days? Please don't take that personally - I chose the wrong career!
(Is 13 weeks off a year not enough)?

Haha before you change careers do my mums job for a day. she might be off for school hols but she's working most of the time and don't ever let her start talking about school reports.... never say teachers have loads of time off and an easy job you will be mowed down by lots of mad people with pointy sticks who for some reason chose to go back to school for a living

My children both came out smiling at 3.30pm, which is a good sign. I return to the classroom on Thursday, but tomorrow is an INSET day. In Service Training. Basically just a staff meeting and a collective moan. Hey ho.

Well, I'm not a parent, nor a teacher, but hopefully you won't mind my answer;-)
Sitting in front of my PC - yeah, that fits:-) With a glass of mineral water and sleeping at sitting:-D
I feel sort of peculiar about my first day at school. It was fine, but I must think also of what will follow, which doesn't make me very enthusiastic. I think I wouldn't mind some more weeks of holiday *LOL*

mine haven't gone back yet the little one goes on Wednesday and the older one on Thursday he isn't happy about it as it will be his birthday

it sucked. i am a senior and all of my classes are boring as ****. i just wanna get the hell out of my school as soon as possible.
