They sure can and if you are wise cut down on the soda and see your dentist quickly since you probably have the starting of some cavities , I had heard how bad soda is for the teeth and a study done where they put a tooth in a glass of soda for 24 hours and when they took it out is was like rubber. I had to try it and when my dogs tooth fell out I put it in soda and it turned to a gel. The tooth sat there on the bottom of the cup like a puddle. No tooth just slime.

Too much Soda and Sweets cause cavities. That's what's acheing.

yes, alittle too much sugar can make the teeth sensitive. just don't drink anymore soda and no sugar for the rest of day. drink milk and water and brush ur teeth and everything should be ok soon.

don't know about chili - but I do add it to soup beans when I'm cooking them, and it does seem to help. BUT don't salt the dish because the baking soda will give it a salty taste.

Ever drop a tooth in a glass of soda to see what happens? The soda COMPLETELY dissolves the tooth.

yea when ever i drink soda my teeth feel funky so i just don't drink soda

Yes because most sodas have phosphoric & citric acid in them...which wears away enamel over time...and sugar does cause tooth decay.

Yes, they can. It's similar to eating too much chocolate. The sugar can be irritating to the gums.
