when i log out ther internet shuts off because i have the sbc yahoo dial

set up user account on your computer through your control panel and on there account the can download YIM also and then they sign on on theres and you can sign on yours

I'm not sure exactly, my best guess would be to download another browser(for instance, Mozzila Firefox). Then, sign on to sbc yahoo as usual, and then open up a window in the other browser for your friend to sign on in.

Its cause your yahoo is merged with your sbc software. I had sbc yahoo dial before and hated that. I has something to do with some feature they call merging. Call them and tell them you want to unmerge your yahoo id from your sbc account.
