Irregularities on the menstrual cycle could happen to anyone as a result hormonal imbalances triggered by several factors as nutritional, emotional, ingested medication and other substances amongst others.Oral contraceptives (OCPs) are the most commonly used hormonal treatment for irregular menses. They do not correct the underlying problem that causes the irregularity but they will regulate the pattern very precisely to the same day of the week each cycle. If it happens just once in a while then it should not trouble your mind but if it comes often then you can ask doctors consultation for proper advice.Check out this link for more information:http://www.wdxcyber.com/nbleed11.htm

EXCELLENT WEBSITE
If you have just begun your menstruation, your body will need time to regulate itself to these changes. Your periods might be a bit erratic at first. You may have two cycles in one month and miss having one the next month.
If you're a teenage girl you probably have started having a period. This whole menstruation thing might seem a bit mysterious, it is to many young women. It's actually very complex, but interesting too.
